„Cello, voice and guitar. From the naked combination of these three elements Hannes Buder, a German musician with numerous solo and collaborative experiences, extracts deeply vital sound images poised between classicism and avant-garde. A thunderous theatricality radiates from the six scores proposed in this new work produced for the laapsproject, a bombastic staging resulting from the overlapping of writing and improvisation. Fragmentary dynamics of dazzling harmonies and rough intersections are condensed into strands traced by the impervious but always fluid development, dominated by strident resonances and abstract vocal modulations. An exception – for duration but not for atmosphere and construct – "No Death And No Regrets" which with its abundant twelve minutes occupies almost half of the entire duration of the album.
